Conference on divorce allowance promoted by ADGI in LecceIn Lecce on 13 May
On 13 May, at the Auditorium of the Court of Appeal of Lecce, a study conference dedicated to divorce allowance will be held. The conference is promoted by the Associazione Donne Giuriste Italia (ADGI), supporting organisation of the EU-FamPro Consortium.
The divorce allowance is a hot topic in the Italian debate. Many voices are raised to propose a reform and the jurisprudence of both merit and legitimacy has recently redefined its function and content.
The jurisprudence of the Salento Courts therefore constitutes an important observatory on the application of current Italian law.
The Società Italiana degli Studiosi in Diritto Civile (Italian Society of Civil Law Scholars) has promoted a reform proposal that will be illustrated during the conference by Prof. Grancesco Giacomo Viterbo, professor at the University of Lecce and member of the Fondazione Scuola di Alta Formazione Giurdica, partner of the PSEFS Consortium and supporting organisation of the EU-FamPro Consortium.
During the event, moderated by Prof. Ernesto Capobianco and chaired by Lawyer Gabriella Rossi, President of the Lecce section of ADGI, the EU-FamPro online training activities will be presented. These activities are addressed to lawyers, mediators, judges and notaries and will start on next autumn.
